Great hotel

I spend some days with my partner there. Away from the center of Berlin. Great place and environment. Good bar, good breakfast and nice staff. Surroundings green and quite. Good beds and clean and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay - improve on the the full experience and you will have something very Special

The Hotel is in a quite location which is an advantage away from the city. The food is very good, rooms are cleaned every day. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel and travelling around Berlin. Bad: No WIFI in the rooms and no English TV channels, come on this is a tourist Hotel these things are basics - Waiting on staff very good English - Reception staff very poor English. Website outlines that the Hotel speaks English. Car parking charges is another poor performance as this Hotel is away from the centre, you should welcome guests who are prepared to travel to you. Car parking like WIFI and TV channels should automatically be included not add ons.

CSS-REUNION 2018

As the years before a great weekend at the Hotel. Luckily it was decided to continue to meet every 2 years at the Mueggelsee Hotel for future CSS/Cactus Starfighter Squadron Reunions. Parking sucks! if you arrive later than 6 am!!

Good

The hotel is in a perfect location. Staff is very friendly. Antonio is the best. Food incl. breakfast and dinner bufet was very good., room was renovated , all ok. Bad: Trash bin was full, they didn’t clean it after the last people in the room. Free parking is a cheating, its far away from hotel , parking is 9 eur . Its very unfriendly to ask so i don t understand why they still ask money for this...after a lot of claims also here... And finally I think everything is a bit overpriced during the low season...

Lovely Lakeside Hotel In The Middle Of a Forest...

Everything was alright during our 4 nights stay except for the hotel's location which is in the middle of the forest. It is a good 10-15 minutes walk until the bus stop in freezing cold. This maybe acceptable and tolerable during the day but not after sunset because the way back into the hotel is totally pitch black and quite eerie. The bus brings you to station Koepenick with trains that will take you direct to the city. The various connections of public transport is quite good, but we decided to take a taxi to avoid the darkness of the woods and it costs 20€ from Koepenick train station to the hotel. Our decision to stay at this hotel was spur of the moment as we have a previous reservation with another hotel. However, when we arrived at that other hotel, there was an ongoing technical breakdown leaving the establishment without heating and warm water so we had to find a last minute solution. That is how we ended at Hotel Müggelsee Berlin! Nonetheless, we are satisfied with the courteousness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfort of our room... Bad: The hotel's location is way too far from the main street and bus stop. The road into the woods is very dark and quite scary, it reminds me of the film "Blair Witch Project". I suggest that the hotel should at least provide a shuttle service to their guests until the nearest bus stop. This may eventually attract more guests and increase their revenue!

Comfortable hotel surrounded by nature and with excellent quality/price ratio.

High comfort, well furnished and clean room. The buffet dinner with affordable price. Very good quality/cost ratio for the room. The green neighboring area. Bad: The position, quite far from the town. Breakfast was 18 euro extra, a bit too much.

Magical getaway

Drinking our morning coffee by the lake, leaves in autumn colours falling of the trees... it was magical. Bad: It’s very far from the city central, since I was working there while on my trip. Then again, it was such a beautiful location and felt like a little getaway for us, since we normally stay in the city When we’re In Berlin.

Hotel with great facilities and at great location

good breakfast, nice rooms with balcony Bad: room furniture somehow outdated Location Tip: not far from Berlin and in vicinity of Mügelsee we enjoyed our stay and were overall satisfied hotel is located at a place you might spend few days and just relax, go for a walk, swim, ... Close to Köpenick and a short drive away from Berlin

Psssst....nice place..nice area...but...

it is far away from the berlin center ... the rooms are ok .. in the style of the 90s ... no minibar ... no free wlan in the room.. only against payment ... breakfast buffet ok ... dinner there is also only buffet .. is however also in order ... have a nice bar ... and the terrain around the hotel is also very nice and green ... suitable for walks around and shipping on the müggelsee ... great sauna area ... but also in the years come ... bathrobe costs also .. at the weekend you can bowling play ... personal is mostly friendly .. unfortunately there are exceptions ... is more a bus trips and meeting hotel ... there were many large groups on site ... a topic I would like to address ... mosquitoes, mosquitoes, mosquitoes ... that was very annoying ... by the lake there are probably problems ... stay was ok..thanks

Balcony is a plus for view towards the lake nearby. Bad: Night shift staff doesn't understand English at all, so that I have draw a picture of kettle to use in the room, as it is not a standard equipment

The breakfast was great! Also the view was very nice from the balcony. Bad: The bed could have been a little comfier for being in a suite. Also, the fact that there was no free WIFI seemed a bit behind the times...

Calm hotel at the suburb of Berlin

Hotel is located right next to the Muggel lake in nice and very quite location (during the winter). Rooms are a little bit smaller but nice and clean. Bad: There is no free wifi at rooms Far from the city center - car needed.

Fresh air accommodation

I loved its location. Both near the lake and inside of the trees . Also not very far away from the city. And nearby the airport Schönefeld. This hotel is very clean and very high quality bathroom. I liked the room tempature is very high , although the outside is too cold. Lake is frozen that is nice for walking on it. Bad: Guests are all naked in SPA center . Both men and women are naked . I am shocked that I have seen the people naked in the sauna . I was wearing but I was distrubted to see disgusting naked bodies . I tried not to look at them .

Weekend stay

We where very happy with the stay at Hotel Mueggelsee, and it was up to our expetation, and we will look at this hotel again for our next stay at Berlin. The rooms was very clean and have all the facilities that we was looking for. Good restaurant with nice service.

Annoying that facilities ie, pool and bowling did not open till later. Meaning we did not get a chance to use them.

Oasis on the Müggelsee

Perfect location on the Müggelsee, with ample locations along the paths to swim. Ideal for couples or relaxed (quiet) groups of friends. Buffet offering was of good quality at €19 pp. Staff very warm and accommodating, especially at dinner and breakfast. We hired bicycles and almost the entire Müggelsee is lined in pathways through the woods, stopping at a nearby biergarten which sold worst and fish lakeside. This side of the lake is the best side. It has sandier banks, better depths for clear lake swimming, and offers a chill environment. Noisier beaches are on the other side with swarms of kids. Can also cycle to nearby towns like Köpenick. An oasis in Berlin! Bad: Pillows always too flat in this part of Europe (sore necks).
